We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can prepare our youth for the future; and the future of Rotary lies in the hands of our youth.

Coming from their strong belief in the power of youth, Rotary Club of Amman Citadel and RYLA chairperson Jihad Bashoura launched the first RYLA for the club, held in Princess Taghrid Institute. During which Rotary was introduced by Rotaract District Chairperson, Jeries Shahin, highlighting the important role Rotary plays in serving humanity.

The attendees then had an interactive and informative training about Risk Management by Ms. Kholoud Al Ibrahim. The training tackled topics ranging from understanding risk and its core elements to classifying risks and exploring the different tools that can be used to assess and manage risks.

PDG, Kevork Mehedessian visited the RYLA and enjoyed the training with our attendees, gave them support and talked about the importance of youth in the future of Rotary and creating leaders to make the world a better place. He also highlighted the role of Rotary in developing communities and contributing to the social, economic and health uprising of the world. He shed light and emphasis on the polio eradication project and the history of Rotary International.

The attendees were then awarded completion certificates by President Bashar Haddad to treasure and commemorate the valuable training they enjoyed within the day.
